Pre Opening Consultant: Mr. Fadi Suleiman

With a Master’s Degree in Hotel and Management, Fadi brings over 20 years of experience to his new post as General Manager of the Palace Gate Hotel & Resort. Having previously worked as both manager and owner in several locations such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Doha, Fadi has extensive experience of developing and fine-tuning premium hospitality brands and was part of the management teams which opened several five-star hotels in the United Arab Emirates for chains such as The Crown Plaza, Jumeirah, Fairmont, Rotana and The Grand Continental.

He relocated to Cambodia just over 12 months ago to manage Chateau The Meliya, and his tenure there saw a notable improvement in results and reviews from customers.

A skilled communicator, Fadi values teamwork, reliability, and hard work, and hopes that these skills can help make Palace Gate Hotel & Resort one of the leading hotels in Phnom Penh.


Native Cambodian Sovanchna, has over 20 years’ experience as a Chef and is the creative mind behind Mealea’s stunning menu. Sovanchna is enthusiastic about the new challenge of creating a range of Traditional Khmer, Asian and Western menus for Palace Gate Hotel & Resort. With a wealth of experience from those venues, and knowledge of Italian, French, and traditional Cambodian cuisines, you can be sure that Palace Gate Hotel & Resort’s menu will be a gastronomic delight.

Front Office Manager: Ms. Ly Thi Quynh Anh

Ly Thi Quynh Anh is a young exuberant professional with responsibility for front office matters at Palace Gate Hotel & Resort. Originally from Nha Trang – Vietnam’s most famous tourist destination – Quynh Anh graduated with an accounting major but with a passion for travelling, meeting people, and experiencing new cultures, it was inevitable that she would seek a career in the hospitality industry.

Quynh Anh started her hospitality career with the global Six Senses Hotel & Spa chain where she gained invaluable training and experience. From there she moved to be part of the management team at Phu Quoc island’s first 5-star hotel before relocating to Phnom Penh two years ago to join the team at Chateau The Meliya where she helped deliver the standards of excellence associated with that hotel.
Now she is looking forward to her next challenge as front office manager at Palace Gate Hotel & Resort where she aims to train her team to deliver exceptional service to all guests.
